event synopsis:

The new series living dreams explores two central questions - what does it mean to live, and what does it mean to dream? To dream and to live, is connected very much to the idea of hope. Our hopes manifest in different ways, according to our own desires and wants.

What becomes really interesting, is how our hopes interact with that of others. Hope may also come as an illusion; a response to the absence of deeper and more internal hopes that we seek within us. This series aims not to provide quick and easy answers to such a complex and nuanced topic. Rather, the objective is to leave the audience with even more questions as to what hope truly is.

Through mixed-medium interdisciplinary performances and collaborations, interactive performance spaces and the democratisation of sound between audience and performers, we hope to create unique, eye-opening and non-conforming aesthetic experiences to guide you in your journey to answer these questions.

This first concert, is part of a series of first concerts. We hope to use these pilot concerts not just as a way to further refine our artistic product before official launch, but also to provide YOU the opportunity to directly impact and influence our evolution.
